Dr. Matthew Cormier
Matthew is now working in healthcare investing and innovation with HaloHealth. Here, he seeks out early-stage companies advancing healthcare technologies/devices/therapeutics for investment and helps companies in the ecosystem by connecting and advising.
Dr. Sabelo Lukhele
Dr. Lukhele joined the lab as a Postdoctoral Fellow in 2017, becoming a Scientific Associate in 2023. He is now a Senior Research Scientist in the Kirsch lab within the Department of Radiation Oncology/ Radiation Medicine Program at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre.
Dr. Laura Snell
Laura was a Postdoctoral Fellow and then a Scientific Associate in the lab from 2012-2021. She is now an assistant professor of Microbiology and Immunology at Indiana University School of Medicine
Dr. Cameron Cunningham
Cameron Graduated from UCLA in 2015. He is currently working as a senior scientist at Amgen.
Dr. Liz Wilson
Liz was a Postdoctoral Fellow in the lab while it was located at UCLA. Liz left academia for industry in 2013. She is currently the Associate Director of GI Inflammation Discovery Research at Takeda in San Diego.
Dr. Laura Raff
Laura was a Postdoctoral Fellow in the lab while it was located at UCLA from 2009-2011. She is now Associate Director of Sales, Immunology at Stemcell Technologies.
Dr. Bruna Bertol
Dr. Bertol was a post doctoral fellow in the lab from 2021-2024. She now work as a Scientist within the Customer Therapeutics team at BenchSci.
Dr. Giselle Boukhaled
Giselle was a Postdoctoral Fellow in the lab from 2018-2022. She joined the Tumor Immunotherapy Program at Princess Margaret Hospital in 2022. She is the Scientific Lead of multi-dimensional data analysis on the Immune Profiling Team
Dr. Beth Macleod
Beth was a Postdoctoral Fellow in the lab from 2015-2020. She is currently an Immunology Research and Development Scientist at Turnstone Biologics in Ottawa
Dr. Doug Yamada
Doug Graduated from UCLA in 2015. He is currently working in Immuno-Oncology Drug Discovery at Janssen R&D.
Dr. Ivan Osokine
Ivan finished his pHD research in the Brooks lab in 2014 and went on to graduated from the MD/PhD program at UCLA in 2016 . He is currently the founder and president of ImmunoRoza
